Movement is life and without movement life is unthinkable. — Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais
The Anat Baniel Method (ABM) is a neuroplasticity based approach that helps individuals learn movement patterns by way of Functional Synthesis (one-on-one sessions) and group Transformation Movement Lessons. Based on pioneering work by Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, ABM looks at human beings as a whole — including body and mind, rather than one body part at a time.
Instead of “treating” a “patient” as most mainstream healthcare practices do, ABM teaches a “student” to “learn” to become aware of internal limitations and to discover new possibilities of movement, often resulting in substantially better quality of health and life in general.
